Russian Journal of Regional Studies is an open access journal, i. e. all content is freely available to users in accordance with the definition of open access of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

The Journal’s materials are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows free sharing, adaptation, and reuse of content, provided that attribution is given and other license requirements are met.
